I grew up in Maribor, Slovenia, where I discovered my interest in photography at an early age – as a child I loved helping my mom in her darkroom and my dad in his photography supplies store so I guess my parents had been playing an important role in my photographic education. However, my true passion for photography was born in 1995 when I won first prize in a nationwide photography competition for high school students. Since 2005 I live and work in Luxembourg.
I would describe myself as a tirelessly curious world wanderer and a travel photographer who infuses his work with his own lust for life. And I’ve made it my life’s goal to be as creative as possible towards everything I endeavor. My range of subjects is fairly broad, but whether I am photographing the breath-taking sceneries of America’s national parks, the hill tribes of Vietnam, New York City’s urban jungle, or my best friend’s wedding ceremony, my goal is always the same – to create something beautiful for the viewer.
